MORE THAN LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT
For Helen Kingsley Lynch “It just was.” That is how the newly- wed explains what she describes as her, “more than love at first sight,” meeting with Peter Wetzel Grote in November 2008. The bride, who goes by Kinglsey, met the man who would soon become her husband in New York City at a dinner party where
the two were seated next to one another. What followed was a whirlwind
romance that resulted with a proposal on the beaches of Nantucket complete
with a lobster dinner that the groom, “had delivered to the beach!” Following their engagement the bride, who is from Greenwich, Connecticut and
had been living in New York City, joined her husband in his hometown of St.
Louis. In the midst of moving, starting a new job and acclimating herself to
a new city, the bride was also planning her wedding. She describes her life
during these months saying, “I was basically living out of a suitcase, as I would
travel home on weekends for dress fittings and meetings with my wedding
planner and my Mom.” Hectic Yes. Impossible? No. The bride, with the
help of planner Deanna Marano was able to plan an incredible weekend long
celebration in Hobe Sound, Florida and she even found the perfect dress by
Amsale that the bride was sold on immediately saying, “I put it on and I knew
it was THE one! It was just what I wanted, and so comfortable!” The bride,
